Trips to wineries and vineyards in Europe, particularly the caves of Champagne, sparked Megan's interest in the world of wine and led her to pursue a career as a sommelier. She gained invaluable experience at three-star Michelin restaurant Atelier Crenn, where she developed her expertise in wine curation and service.
Prior to joining Sorrel, Megan spent five years at two-star Michelin Lazy Bear as Service Director and Head Sommelier. During her tenure, Lazy Bear was nominated for two James Beard Awards for Best Hospitality and gained a Wine Spectator Grand Award. Beyond her professional achievements, Megan is an avid traveler with a passion for exploring the world's top restaurants and wine estates, constantly seeking inspiration and deepening her understanding of global culinary and wine trends.
