Samuel Bogue began his career in hospitality bussing tables as a summer job throughout high school and college while growing up in Boulder, Colorado. A part time job for spending cash took a serious turn when he landed at the famed Frasca Food & Wine polishing glasses for infamous Sommelier, Bobby Stucky. It was during this time that hospitality moved from part time gig, to full time passion, taking up studies in the Court of Master Sommeliers and delving into the world of wine before ultimately moving to San Francisco in 2013.
Since then, Samuel has curated wine lists for many top restaurants across the Bay Area, including Flour + Water, Central Kitchen, Al's Place, Great Gold, and now Sorrel. Samuel's accolades include 2016 Zagat 30 under 30 and 2019 Star Chefs Rising Star.
